Principles of relations of parents with children
I want to be loved. So I'll open my children.
I know so little about the complex maze of childhood. So I'll be happy to learn from children.
I learn best knowledge gained as a result of their own efforts. So I combine their efforts with those of the child.
I love to take me as I am there. Therefore, I will strive to empathize with the child and appreciate it.
I - the only one who can live my life. So I will not strive to control a child's life.
I draw hope and the will to live within themselves. Therefore, I will accept and acknowledge the child's sense of independence.
I feel fear when I'm defenseless. Therefore, I will touch the inner world of a child with kindness, affection, tenderness.
I can not fully protect the child from fear, pain, frustration and stress. So I'll try to soften the blow.
